• Does the gateway support 5GHz Wi-Fi?
• No, the gateway only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and is not compatible with 5GHz networks. Therefore, if your WiFi setting is a mixed frequency of 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, please set the WiFi router to use the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequency bands separately.
• Does the app notification service require a fee?
• TUYA app push notification is free—such as alerts appear on your phone's notification bar and lock screen. However, SMS and call alerts are charged by a third-party TUYA publisher, not METAK. Please consider your needs before enabling these services.
• Can I customize the alerts and volume?
