• Unlike plug-in cameras, the solar cameras record motion activities only. They do not record empty videos with no activity. If you'd like a certain camera to record 24/7, you can plug the camera to 5V DC power and switch it to Continuous Record mode.
• Can the cameras really work from 1300ft away?
• The experimental data is obtained on open ground. The WiFi NVR is an indoor hub, so the WiFi signal must pass walls and will be reduced. Still, the long range cams have powerful WiFi and bring you ease and flexibility to install them where you want.
• How long does the SD card record?
• The 64GB SD card keeps motion-triggered videos of past 90-120 days and it loop records. If you use a camera in 24/7 mode, we suggest you to add a SATA HDD to the NVR so it keeps videos of more days.
• Will I have to recharge the cameras' batteries often?
• No, you don't have to. We suggest you to recharge the cameras to 100% before you mount them, then install them with the solar panels. The solar panels replenish the power everyday.
