• Many smart devices use WiFi. This can be convenient, but it can bog down your WiFi and add potential security risks. YoLink devices only connect to a YoLink hub, and the hub is the only thing that connects to your network.

• The hub does require an internet connection. It uses a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection, and/or ethernet (plug into your router). It will not work without an internet connection.
• How many devices can I put on my hub?
• There is no set number, but we encourage you to get a second hub when you approach 200 devices. That will ensure a single failure later will not keep anything from working. And, adding a second hub can expand the range of your system.
